We are investigating use of newer pipe materials and/or construction methods long-term for water main replacements that may better withstand ground movement, as part of our infrastructure improvement process.
We are exploring:
- Different pipe materials and pipes with flexible joints
- Installing pipes above-ground
- Encasing pipes
- Rerouting pipes to areas with less land movement
