Summary: Cal Water plans to replace 7,000 feet of smaller main with larger-diameter main and install additional main.
Current status: Preliminary design completed and in review.
We will replace about 7,000 feet of 4-inch water main with about 9,500 feet of new 8-inch, flexible main. Most of the main is expected to be installed above-ground subject to geotechnical review. We are currently in the design phase of the project.
About 1,500 feet of the new main will be installed along a portion of Narcissa that does not currently have pipeline; this will allow a two-way feed into the neighborhood.
