Cal Water news release

Redondo Beach Infrastructure Improvement Project

Last week, crews started an infrastructure improvement project in Redondo Beach that will improve water system reliability and fire protection for years to come. Cal Water is installing more than 2,800 feet of new 6- and 8-inch water main to replace aging pipes. Crews will also install three new fire hydrants to enhance fire flow and replace 58 individual customer service connections to ensure dependability. Construction will take place along the 500 block of Earle Lane, 2200 block of Earle Court, 2200 block of Glick Court, 2200 block of Margaret Court, 2200 block of Hall Court, and 2200 block of Fisher Court.

The project is expected to be completed by June 2022. Crews will be working in the area Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. We will make every effort to minimize traffic delays during construction and will repave the area once the project finishes.
