A Cal Water customer in the Ranch Dominguez district reported an individual going door to door claiming that the customer would receive a letter from the state if he was not allowed in to test their water. This individual does not work with or represent Cal Water, and our water is safe to drink and tested regularly.

We urge our customers to remain vigilant if they are approached or contacted by someone asking to test or treat their home’s water. If you are ever unsure about someone asking about your water, please do not to let him or her into your home and call your local office for verification.
