Public Health Goal Meetings

Public Health Goals (PHGs) are non-enforceable goals established by the California Environmental Protection Agency that help water utilities monitor constituents of interest. Every three years, Cal Water prepares PHG reports for all of our water systems serving more than 10,000 connections.

These reports include, among other things, information on the best available method for reducing the constituent level and an estimate of the cost to install that treatment, if it is appropriate and feasible.

On August 4, 2022, Cal Water held a virtual public meeting to review the current PHG reports for our water systems. A recording of that meeting is below.
