Salinas Infrastructure Improvement Project Completed

Cal Water recently completed an infrastructure improvement project in our Salinas District. The project included the installation of 560 feet of new 6-inch PVC water pipe, and replacement of 10 individual customer service lines and one fire hydrant on Coronado Avenue, between Wilson and Santa Barbara streets, in western Salinas. This improves water supply reliability and fire protection in the area.

“Our crews are committed to ensuring that a reliable supply of safe, clean water remains accessible to Salinas-area residents for their household needs and the emergency needs of first responders,” Salinas District Manager Brenda Granillo said. “We would like to thank our customers and neighbors for their patience during the construction as we worked to improve the water system—improvements that will last for decades to come.”
