Relocating pressure regulator along Vanderlip/Gary’s Gulch

Summary: Above-ground infrastructure to be relocated due to fissures opening beneath it. Work expected to take about three weeks, weather permitting.

Current status: Relocation in progress.

Due to fissures opening beneath one of our pressure regulators, our crews will be relocating the regulator, which we expect to take about three weeks, weather permitting, starting December 1, 2025.

In advance of this work, our crews will need to temporarily interrupt water service on December 1 from 9 a.m.—3 p.m. in order to install a valve on our water main to accommodate the relocation. After the relocation is completed, we will switch all customers in PBCA to our portable booster for about two days to minimize any service disruptions while we tie the pressure regulator into the system.
