Summary: Crews are replacing water main with above-ground main.
Current status: Construction completed, and new main in service.
Crews will replace the water main on Clovetree Place at Cinnamon Lane with above-ground main ahead of the larger, 9,500-feet main installation along Narcissa and the other surrounding streets in Portuguese Bend Community Association. This area originally experienced more land movement than other portions of the neighborhood. The design for this section of main has been finalized and approved, materials have now arrived, and crews will begin construction on February 15, 2024.
UPDATE: Crews completed construction, conducted pressure and water quality testing, and have put the new main in service.
