Water Main Installation Begins in Portuguese Bend Community Association
Materials for the new, above-ground water main on Clovetree Place at Cinnamon Lane in the Portuguese Bend Community Association have arrived, and crews began construction on Thursday, February 15.

Other Main Installation Projects Underway
Crews have finalized the design of 300 feet of new water main to be installed above ground along Palos Verdes Drive South, near Wayfarers Chapel. We expect materials to arrive later this month and will begin construction soon after.
Additionally, design work continues on the water main replacement for both the rest of western Seaview, where we plan to install about 8,000 feet of water main as a proactive measure against land movement, and along Narcissa Drive and surrounding streets in the Portuguese Bend Community Association. In PBCA, we plan to install about 9,500 feet of new main.
To address accelerated and localized movement along Vanderlip Trail, we are planning to replace about 1,000 feet of water main with above-ground pipe. We are in the preliminary design phase, conducting initial survey work, reviewing easements, and clearing brush.
