Extension of Above-Ground Main Completed Along Vanderlip Drive

Since our last newsletter, crews completed installation of the above-ground water main extension along Vanderlip Drive to include the upper-most portion of the street. After satisfactory water quality and pressure test results were received, crews tied the new main into the water system on December 11, 2024.

Water Main to be Moved Above Ground in Burma Trail

With some land movement being seen in the Burma Trail area starting in August 2024 and in consultation with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, we have decided to replace the remaining underground water main in this area with about 3,000 feet of above-ground main. Our Engineering team has completed the design of the new alignment, and we are coordinating with our contractor to order materials. After the City completes brush clearance and trail restoration, expected around the end of January, we plan to begin construction of the above-ground main.
