Cal Water is beginning a water system improvement project on the Palos Verdes Peninsula to improve water supply reliability and fire protection locally.
Crews will install 2,430 feet of new 6-inch water main from 26974 to 27295 Eastvale Road during the next two months. The work will be performed Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. After construction has been completed, the new water lines will be flushed and water quality testing conducted before individual customer service connections are tied into the new main.
“This water system upgrade is part of our commitment first and foremost to provide our customers with safe and reliable water service, both for everyday and emergency needs,” said District Manager Dan Armendariz. “We want to thank residents and motorists in advance for their patience as we complete this important water infrastructure improvement project.”
