Cal Water’s Rancho Dominguez District reaffirmed its commitment to improving the communities it serves in 2017 by donating $47,000 to local charitable organizations and community groups.
This year, the Rancho Dominguez District helped non-profits provide services to community members in need by donating to the El Camino College Foundation, 101 Enterprises Foundation, Rotary Club of Carson-Gardena-Dominguez, Carson Women’s Club, the City of Hawthorne, and other local organizations. The funds were donated as part of the utility’s philanthropic giving program and not paid for by ratepayers.
“We are glad to partner with these important organizations, which provide such essential services to our community,” said District Manager Dan Armendariz. “California Water Service values being able to give back to help improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.”
