Cal Water Provides Support to Oroville Families Through Annual Operation Gobble Program

Cal Water will present a total of $10,000 to local charitable organizations at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at Cal Water’s Customer Center (1905 High Street) in Oroville as part of the company’s annual “Operation Gobble” program. Representatives from the charities are expected to attend

Cal Water has selected five charities this year to receive $2,000 each, including the Oroville YMCA, Boys and Girls Club of Oroville, Oroville Salvation Army, Oroville Rescue Mission, and Oroville Hope Center. According to Cal Water’s District Manager Toni Ruggle, these organizations provide much needed assistance to those in need.

“As one of Oroville’s oldest businesses, we are grateful to be able to give back to our neighbors and the community we have been a part of for nearly 100 years,” said District Manager Toni Ruggle. “We are committed to improving the quality of life in the community we are proud to serve, and are thankful for these amazing service organizations and the essential services they provide in Oroville.”
